Events & Presentations
The Annual Student Symposium was established to showcase
medical student successes via oral presentations and provide a platform to illustrate
the benefits of lifelong scholarship. This is a well-attended event by MCOM faculty, USF leadership and students with presenters receiving awards for excellence.

Past Annual Student Symposium Presentations:
All medical students who were funded for scholarly work in the summer between years 1 and 2 are required to submit an abstract of their outcomes at the USF Health Research Day held in the spring. Selected students are invited to deliver an oral presentation based on their abstract submission. Poster presentations are judged in a variety of categories for awards.
Graduating medical students are invited to display their scholarly work at the
Gallery of Scholarship held during the pre-function event for the commencement dinner.
