Oversees the operation of the Center, approves and assigns activities to the Center Schedule. Presents the Center to outside organizations through presentations and tours. Oversees educational validity of all activities. Serves as liaison with all Office of Educational Affairs Coordinators and Course Directors.

Oversees the maintenance of the Center, including supplies, equipment and facility oversight. Must maintain all Human Resource files: staff records, standardized patient application forms and payment processing (is FERPA certified). The Center Manager is active in planning, submitting and executing all budgetary items involved with running a training Center, including staff. Reports to the Executive Director.

Standardized Patient Coordinator

Schedules all Standardized Patients with examination needs. Maintains an ongoing schedule of planned encounters, assigned SPs, and available SPs. Insures that examining rooms are appropriately stocked for specific activities and that SPs are fully trained. Can also serve as an SP, if needed. Must have some medical education. This is a part-time job that reports to the Executive Director and/or Center Manager.

Technology and Systems Analyst

Insures the smooth running of all computers and simulators, advising on replacements or enhancements. Also maintains data management, assigning necessary tasks to the Data Entry student worker. Can access data information, as needed, and can operate simulation activities, as needed by the Executive Director or Medical Director. This is a job that reports to the Executive Director and/or Center Manager.

Technology Student Assistant

This position requires an individual to become knowledgeable with this in-house interface program, called BLine, and assist users progressing through their individual simulated examinations. The person will also assist in installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and support of information technology hardware and software related to high fidelity simulation. This is a job that reports to the Executive Director and/or Center Manager, as well as take assignments from the Technology Analyst.

Teaching Lab Specialist (Open)

Assists in processing SP payroll, and specific data entry. Is able to announce and time student activities. Keeps up to date records on the Center’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) manuals. Can prepare certain HR documents for signature, and can participate in the student worker interview process. This is a job that reports to the Executive Director and/or Center Manager.
