Criteria was based on: Quality - NCLEX Pass Rate, Accreditation, and Graduation Rate; Affordability - Tuition & Fees, Financial Aid, and Student Loans; Convenience - Distance Education Options, Weekend/Evening Class Availability, and Online/Hybrid Programs; Satisfaction - Retention Rate and RateMyProfessor; and Value - Salary Upon Graduation vs. Cost to Attend. According to NurseJournal.org, a good nursing school provides quality education at reasonable costs and offers a variety of options to enable working students to attend.

USF Nursing DNP student, Whitney Griffith, RN, recently received a sought-after scholarship from CVS Together We Care. Griffith was one of five DNP students in the country to receive a $5,000 scholarship from the largest pharmacy health care provider.
