Aegis Sciences Corporation
AEGIS is a federally certified laboratory that has been providing Sports Testing Services to colleges and universities throughout the U.S. since 1991. They are the only truly INDEPENDENT Sports Laboratory in the U.S. and their Zero-Tolerance Drug Testing ® program is the MOST ACCURATE drug test available and the only test specifically designed for the student-athlete. The entire Aegis Forensic Team, which includes two Board-Certified Toxicologists, is dedicated to supporting drug-free sports programs. SMART is excited to partner with Aegis in helping to educate medical professionals on drug testing knowledge.

DJ Ortho
One of the world's leaders in medical supplies, DJ Ortho has teamed up with SMART to advance the level of care provided to the Tampa Bay community. Through its generosity, members of the DJ Ortho team collaborate with SMART to provide athletic training care and coverage for local sporting events and orthopaedic clinical operations.

Hillsborough County Parks, Recreation and Conservation, Athletic Department
Hillsborough County, Florida

Hillsborough CountyHillsborough County's Parks, Recreation and Conservation's Athletic Section certifies and supervises approximately 2,000 community volunteer coaches annually. The coaches represent more than 60 County youth organizations, and provide services to 30,000 Hillsborough County youth. Together with the Department of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine and the SMART Institute at the University of South Florida, they provide educational seminars with topics that cover Sportsmanship, First Aid and Injury Prevention, CPR, and much more.

International Youth Sports Foundation
The IYSF is a non profit organization dedicated to ensuring that all individuals who may have specific challenges with a disability have the opportunity to become empowered through their participation in recreational sports. The SMART Institute has partnered with IYSF with their Special Hockey Programs programs that exist for the enrichment of the athlete with a developmental disability. In addition to physical hockey skills, the program emphasizes development of desirable individual characteristics such as dependability, self-reliance, concentration, willingness to share and personal accountability.

Lakeland Center
The SMART Institute has provided medical coverage for various high school state championship competitions, including volleyball, and both men's and women's basketball. The Lakeland Center has depended upon SMART athletic trainers to provide comprehensive and quality coverage to assure safe and fun championship games.

Major League Soccer (MLS)
The SMART Institute and the Continuing Professional Education Department of the University of South Florida have partnered with Major League Soccer to provide continuing medical education for physicians attending the annual Soccer Medical Industry Symposium (SIMS) focused on sharing the most current and evidence-based medical interventions for professional soccer physicians, athletic trainers, and other medical personnel.

NCSS
The NCSS (National Center for Sports Safety), founded by Dr. Larry Lemak, is a nationwide leader in advancing the mission of sports safety. Housed in Birmingham, Alabama, The NCSS partners with the University of South Florida to offer the nationally recognized course "PREPARE", designed to educate coaches and others on key elements of basic sports safety.

Pasco County
The SMART Institute has partnered with the Pasco County School District to provide sport and physical education safety courses to coaches and physical education teachers throughout the county. This unique educational program is custom-designed for the school district to meet their specific needs of risk prevention.

Premier Software, Inc.
Premier Software, Inc. is the developer of Simtrak MobilityTM, an injury registry software program that the SMART Institute has customized to collect accurate and timely documentation for our community outreach sports safety initiatives. This program will help us to analyze injury patterns leading to the development of ideas and programs designed to make sports safer in our community.

Sports & Field (Wesley Chapel)
Sports and Field LogoThe SMART Institute has partnered with Sports and Field, Tampa Bay's Premier Family Athletic Club specializing in the highest quality fitness and training experience for our community members as well as professional athletes. Our main partnership goal is to provide a cultural learning experience for students of Athletic Training by co-hosting a Japanese student AT workshop.
