Sara M. Valenti, M.A., A.T.C
Sara Valenti is an employee of the University of South Florida's Sports Medicine and Athletic Related Trauma (SMART) Institute through USF Health. She is currently assigned to Durant High School in Plant City where she provides sports medicine coverage to all the athletic teams.
Sara recently graduated from Southeast Missouri State University where she received her Master's in Higher Education Administration with a focus in Sports Management. She received her degree while serving as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for the gymnastics team. Sara also received her Bachelor's degree from the University of South Florida in Athletic Training with a minor in dance. She is currently working on her doctorate in Educational Leadership at USF.
Sara is currently a member of the National Athletic Trainer's Association as well as the Athletic Trainer's Association of Florida.
Sara has enjoyed helping to make a difference in the community through USF and SMART while serving as the head athletic trainer at Durant High School and assisting with other USF Health community projects. She is looking forward to another great year with the Cougars and USF SMART.
