Gerald T. Alexander, MD
"Trey", is a Florida native and a member of the class of 2013. He received his undergraduate degree at the University of Florida. He is an alumnus of the University of South Florida College Of Medicine. His clinical interests include sports medicine, joint reconstruction, and trauma, while his research has focused on oncology.
Odion Binitie, MD
Odion Binitie, MD graduated with honors from Florida State University. He received his medical degree from the University of South Florida, College of Medicine and completed an internship at Baylor College of Medicine. He joined the USF orthopaedic residency program in 2006 and is a member of the class of 2011.
Richard B. Burris, MD
"Brandon" is originally from Douglasville, GA. He received his undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia. He completed his medical school training at Emory University in Atlanta and joined the USF residency program in 2008 and is a member of the class of 2013. He plans to complete a fellowship following residency.
Rick Cain, MD
Rick Cain, MD, is a Florida native and a member of the class of 2013. Rick received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida. He completed his medical training at the University of South Florida where he was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha.
Michael Doarn, MD
Mike is an Ohio native and a member of the class of 2014. He received his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University with Honors and Distinction and is an avid Buckeyes fan. He received his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. His orthopaedic interests include joint reconstruction, sports medicine, oncology, and hand; he plans on pursuing a fellowship following residency.
Brian Domby, MD
Brian Domby, MD, is a member of the class of 2013. He graduated from the University of North Carolina-Asheville, where he played soccer. Brian graduated medical school from East Carolina University-Brody School of Medicine in 2008. His orthopaedic interests include sports medicine, joint reconstruction and trauma.
Paul Edwards, MD
Paul Edwards, MD is a member of the class of 2011. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville. He then obtained a M.S. degree in physiology. He completed his medical training at the University of Arkansas prior to joining the USF orthopaedic residency program in 2007. He is an Arkansas native and an avid Razorback fan.
Eric Henderson, MD
Eric Henderson, MD, is a member of the class of 2011. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and obtained his medical degree from the University of South Florida. He started with the USF orthopaedic residency program in 2006. His orthopaedic interests include oncology and pediatric deformity.
German Marulanda, MD
German Marulanda, MD, graduated from the Universidad el Bosque, College of Medicine in Bogota, Colombia. He completed a general surgery internship at the University of Maryland Medical Center. He has published more than twenty peer-reviewed orthopaedic related studies and five book chapters. He has presented his work both in national and international meetings including podium presentations at AAOS. His orthopaedic interests are oncology, joint reconstruction and spine. He is a member of the class of 2012.
Chuck Nalley, MD
Chuck is a native of Little Rock, Arkansas and a member of the Class of 2014. Chuck has a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Arkansas, where he was a four year letterman, team captain, and special teams phenomenon for the Razorback football team. He worked as an engineer in natural gas pipeline design before sojourning to medical school. He is an alumnus of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Chuck's interests and include orthopaedics and spending time with his wife and son.
Brian Palumbo, MD
Brian Palumbo, MD, graduated from University of South Florida, College of Medicine and entered the orthopeadic residency program in 2007 and is a member of the class of 2012. His orthopaedic interests include reconstruction, oncology, and spine.
Matt Stein, MD
Matt is originally from Allentown, PA. He received his undergraduate degree from Haverford College, outside of Philadelphia, where he played basketball and tennis. He completed his medical school training at New York University in 2009. He is a member of the class of 2014.
Nazeem Virani, MD
Nazeem Virani, MD is a member of the USF orthopaedic residency class of 2012. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of New Orleans and completed his medical training at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in New Orleans.
Derek Weichel, MD
Derek Weichel, MD, originally from Nebraska, graduated from medical school at the University of Virginia. He entered the USF orthopaedic residency program in July 2007 and is a member of the class of 2012.
Brian White, MD
Brian is a Florida native and a member of the class of 2014. He graduated from Wake Forest University with a B.A. in Communications and obtained his medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine. Prior to starting residency Brian was an acclaimed player in a traditional form of Japanese traditional theater known as Bunraku.
