Teams may include surgeons, medical oncologists or hematologists, pathologists, radiologists and radiation oncologists. This provides every patient an approach of comprehensive and coordinated care.

All Children’s Hospital is the only specialty licensed children’s hospital on Florida’s west coast. Founded in 1926, All Children’s has grown into a leading pediatric referral center that is dedicated to advancing treatment, education, research and advocacy in child health. Childhood cancer program is one of the largest in the Southeast and the only pediatric affiliate of the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute, Florida's only NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center. There are 11 medical oncologist at children’s hospital, and the only children’s hospital that has a pediatric medical and radiation oncologist specializing in Sarcoma

The Division of Sarcoma at Moffitt Cancer Center provides comprehensive, patient-oriented care for all types and stages of cancer, with special attention to technological advancement, quality of life, and education. Physicians and staff are dedicated to providing the newest and most effective care to patients while striving to blend compassion and technique in the patient-care approach.

At Moffitt's sarcoma center our multidisciplinary team of physicians and experts work collaboratively to manage the diagnosis and treatment of these rare cancers. Our sarcoma treatment team consists of orthopedic oncology surgeons, surgical oncologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, physician assistants, registered nurses and other health care professionals working together to provide state of the art, individualized care for each sarcoma patient.

Our multidisciplinary approach to treating patients with sarcoma offers the best possible chance for cure, quality of life and rehabilitation.

Our sarcoma treatment team meets weekly during the multidisciplinary Sarcoma conference to review the diagnostic findings for each patient. This meeting is an opportunity to design a personalized care plan for each sarcoma patient. The team also uses this time to address the often complex issues surrounding the management of each Sarcoma patient. Patients are also reviewed for clinical trial participation as research is at the forefront of our mission of treating and curing Sarcoma.
