Accreditation
The USF Athletic Training Education Program (ATEP) at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE). CAATE is the agency responsible for accreditation of entry level Athletic Training educational programs. CAATE is sponsored by the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM), and the National Athletic Trainers' Association, Inc. (NATA). After the last comprehensive review, the USF ATEP was granted the maximum 10-year accreditation. The next comprehensive review is scheduled for 2019.
