How do I access electronic resources when off-campus?

Step 1:
You need a USF ID Card
This is also your Library Card

Step 2:
You need a computer with Internet access.

Step 3:
What are you trying to access?
For access to all USF Libraries electronic resources, go to Step 4.
For access to all USF Health password protected electronic resources, go to Step 5.
Please refer to the IDs & Accounts Needed flowchart for a complete list.

Step 4:
Select the Connection Method you plan to use.
Read the instructions carefully.
Electronic resources available to all USF students, faculty & staff will require you to choose one of these access methods.
If you choose the myUSF (Blackboard) option, you will need a NetID.

Step 5:
Go to the Shimberg Library home page and select the resource. 
USF Health password-protected resources are only available to USF Health students, faculty, and staff.  Enter your HSCNET Account user name (ex: jdoe) and password when prompted.
